As we head into the new financial year, we know many businesses and the self employed are concerned about the increase in costs and overheads. In this blog we've pulled together funding news and opportunities that may help:


Magic Little Grants 2022: Now launched, Magic Little Grants will be awarding £500 grants to 2,650 charitable organisations to improve mental wellbeing, enable community participation in the arts or respond to climate emergency and promote sustainability. Eligible organisations must be in their first year of operation, or have an annual income under £250,000. Find out more and see project themes here.


Go Industrial Creative Opportunity: As part of the Imperial War Museum’s Second World War and Holocaust Partnership Programme (SWWHPP), Go Industrial, the Devil’s Porridge Museum and the Scottish Fisheries Museum are looking to commission a creative practitioner to produce a totemic artwork to be displayed as part of the SWWHPP’s exhibitions. The commission is worth £9000, apply by 5pm on the 14th April. Find out more here.

Arctic Connections Fund: Applications to this fund, designed to help Scottish organisations and communities collaborate with partners in the Arctic, are now open. Organisations can apply for between £1,000 and £10,000 by midday on 27 April 2022. Find out more here.
