WRAP Training
The Care and Wellbeing Collective, GrowBiz and Plus Perth are running series of WRAP workshops for individuals living in Perth & Kinross with support from the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund via PKAVS.
WRAP is a personalised wellness and recovery programme born out of and rooted in the principle of self-determination. The research shows that it helps people to:
decrease and prevent intrusive or troubling feelings and behaviours;
increase personal empowerment;
improve quality of life; and
achieve their own life goals and dreams.
Using the WRAP approach can help individuals to monitor uncomfortable and distressing feelings and behaviours and, through planned responses, reduce, modify, or eliminate those feelings.
The training will take place 9 - 5pm each day. Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided. Funding is available to cover childcare and travel costs if this is a barrier to attendance.
The next courses are:
Thursday, 2 February 09:00 - Friday, 3 February 17:00, Atholl Centre, Pitlochry
AND
Thursday, 23 February 09:00 - Friday, 24 February 17:00, Crieff Connexions
