Business leaders, academics and economists have been appointed to a new Advisory Council to help shape an ambitious 10 year National Strategy that will drive Scotland’s economic transformation, and will include GrowBiz and Smart Village Scotland CEO, Jackie Brierton.
Jackie says: ‘I’m delighted to be part of the Council, and look forward to contributing ideas for the future of Scotland’s rural economy – with all the entrepreneurial energy and potential we see every day at GrowBiz.’
As Scotland recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic and transitions to a net zero economy, this strategy will prioritise investment in the industries of the future and deliver new, good and green jobs.
