This is event is for everyone who wants to know how to make their business more sustainable. We will talk about what Net Zero means for us all as small rural businesses, the opportunities and challenges, and look at how to create a climate action plan and to start taking action. In the first of 4 sessions Helen Lavery from Zero Waste Scotland will join us with a workshop on the circular economy, introducing the concept and showing us how to identify sustainability gaps and the opportunities they present. The workshop will be interactive to encourage you to question and think differently about resources - small groups will discuss a set of 30 ideas cards. The cards pose some interesting questions - what if waste was illegal? What if products were designed to fit recycling systems? She will showcase Scottish companies already doing things differently and demonstrate how circular economy models are relevant to businesses across all sectors. This event is funded by SSE for rural businesses in Perth and Kinross. Book a free ticket here.
