Exciting news for Smart Village Scotland as a new portal goes live. The communities of Meigle
and Ardler identified the need for a reliable source of up to date information for residents and visitors to these scenic villages in Strathmore, Perth & Kinross.
The forward-thinking Community Development Trust there contacted Smart Village Scotland to work with them to develop the site and identify Digital Champions who will be responsible for engaging with the community and keeping the portal fresh with updated content and news on local initiatives.
Community Development Worker Caroline Ness did a fantastic job in engaging with the residents of Meigle and Ardler gathering content and coming up with some excellent information on the history of the area, as well as documenting local services and current initiatives such as the Community Action Plan process which is under way and a local lockdown winter project.
