Just Enterprise Event: Join Just Enterprise and Firstport representatives for an in person networking and information morning, where you will get the chance to meet fellow social entrepreneurs and local support agencies. This event on the 19th May at Volunteer Scotland, Stirling, will include workshops and panel discussions as well as opportunities to network, and a free lunch. Highland Council Business Growth Fund: Grants of £5,000 to £10,000 are available for small to medium sized businesses in the Highland Council area who are looking to create new jobs, expand or move premises, invest in equipment or who need support to grow. Find out more here.

The Culture & Business Fund Scotland: This fund allows businesses and arts or heritage organisations to come together to build partnerships and bring creative projects to life. It offers £ for £ match funding for suitable projects, sponsored by eligible businesses, and has a clear set of aims. Find out more here.

Regional Food Fund: This fund offers grants of up to £5,000 to support collaborative projects that promote the development of food and drink across Scotland. Applications close at 5pm on Monday 9 May 2022. Find out more here.

Women in Enterprise Cross Party Group Meeting: Women entrepreneurs have recently experienced not only the challenges of managing a business through a pandemic, but also increased caring responsibilities and health impacts. This session, to be held on Wednesday 4 May at 7pm on Zoom, will be focused on wellbeing and will discuss issues like isolation, stress, and caring responsibilities, including adult care. Opportunity for a Pitch at the Tayside Classic Motor Show: The 15 Tayside Classic Motor Show is being held at Errol Airfield in Perthshire on Sunday 12 June 2022 and features a static display of classic motor cycles, cars, commercials, agricultural vehicles from the 1940’s to early 2000’s. The show is held to raise funds for locals children’s charities and will also include entertainment in the ring as well as children’s amusements.
