Environmental Placement Programme: Get help to recruit a student or graduate to work on an environmentally focused project. For businesses or organisations based in Scotland. The cost to host a placement is £500 plus VAT per week for up to 12 weeks. Find out more here.
Wood Leisure Caravan Park Owners Day: Wood Leisure Caravan Park in Rattray, Blairgowrie, are looking for stall holders for their owners day on 10th June 12 to 3pm. There is no charge for a stall, they just ask for a raffle donation. Contact Helen Downie on 01250 878123, Option 4.
Scottish Government Place-Based Investment Programme: Expressions of Interest are now open for this programme for projects that advance progress on the following aims: Community-led regeneration, Community involvement & ownership, Town centre action, Community wealth building, Net-zero, Wellbeing economy & inclusive economic development, 20-minute neighbourhoods. Email KEDoherty@pkc.gov.uk for more information and to receive an Expression of Interest form, with a submission deadline of the 14 May.
Vikings and Craft Fair: Book a stall at Cultybraggan Camp's Craft Fair, Comrie, which coincides with the visit of the Glasgow Vikings. Inside and outside spaces are available. The event runs from 11am to 4pm on 17 and 18 June; set up is from 9.30am. Find out more and book here.
HMRC Webinars for the Self-Employed: HMRC have a number of webinars on helpful topics for the self-employed lined up in May, including on capital allowances on Friday the 5th at 11:45am and business expenses on Monday the 15th at 1:45pm.
Creative Spring Market and Open Studios: The Creative Spring Market & Open Studios on Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 May, at The Perth Creative Exchange includes artists based in the building and Perthshire Artisans, and promises a fun and creative day out. It’s free to visit, so drop by anytime between 10am-4pm on both days.
REDS Directory Business Services Showcase: This month REDS is holding an online Business Services Showcase to highlight their directory listings who provide business services, such as website design, advertising, training, graphic design, copywriting, accounting, and more.
