Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards: This year there are 10 categories to choose from in these awards, so if you run a business or know a woman-led business that has achieved great things, please apply or nominate here. The closing date for all entries is Monday 15th August 2022.


Equality System in Rural and Island Scotland Survey: Take part in this survey to help Scottish Rural Action, the Rural Youth Project, the Equality Network, the National Rural Mental Health Forum, Scottish Rural Network and Sleeping Giants Community Development CIC understand what support is already out there. There’s a chance to win a £40 voucher too. Take part here.


Let’s Do Net Zero Community Buildings Fund: Non-profit community organisations can apply for up to 80% of eligible costs up to a maximum of £80,000 to support decarbonising self-managed community buildings. Find out more here.

CEIS Board Members Opportunity: CEIS are looking for new Board members, as well as a new Chair, Vice-chair and Treasurer. They’re seeking individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds with a range of skills and experience who want to work alongside them to build a more inclusive economy in Scotland. Inspiring Scotland Free Training: This summer, Inspiring Scotland is hosting a series of workshops designed to support rural community organisations in Scotland. These sessions are aimed at small, community-led, grass roots organisations who have not applied for Scottish Government, LEADER or Lottery funding before, or who've been unsuccessful with applications they have made. No One left behind Challenge Fund: Perth and Kinross Local Employability Partnership is calling for projects to assist individuals currently unemployed/economically inactive, or seeking support to develop their employability skills, progress, and gain sustainable employment. You can find information on how to apply for the No One Left Behind, incorporating the Parental Employment Support Fund and the Young Person's Guarantee Challenge Fund, here.


Blairgowrie Business Centre Vacancies: 5 various sized offices are available at this location in the centre of Blairgowrie; from 1- 2 person up to larger rooms that would take up to 10+. All rooms are on a month to month licence. Hot desking is also an option. Find out more here.


The Young Business Capital Investment Grant: This fund aims to stimulate an increase in productivity, innovation and employment through capital investment in young businesses and social enterprises trading for less than five years. It will cover up to 50% of eligible costs between £5k and £100k. Find out more here.


Circular Textiles Fund: This fund, administered by Zero Waste Scotland, aims to support the development of circular supply chains in Scotland and help businesses achieve net zero, helping reduce the environmental impact of textiles. Expressions of interest from businesses across the textiles industry in Scotland are being sought by 29th July. Find out more here.


The Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards: Set to take place at Peebles Hydro on Friday September 2nd, these awards will celebrate the innovation, resilience, and determination of businesses in the area. Both members and non-members of the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce can enter, but you must be operating in the Scottish Borders. The deadline for submissions is 6pm on July 29th.
