Scotland Inbound Tour Operators - COVID-19 Business Support and Continuity Fund: The fund is being delivered by VisitScotland on behalf of the Scottish Government and is open to businesses who operate in Scotland as inbound tour operators and destination management companies, promoting and selling packaged products (Scotland holidays) to international markets. The amount awarded to each applicant will be determined by the eligibility criteria and supporting information provided. Businesses can now submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) until Friday 29 January 2021 at 5pm. Find out more here.
Scottish Wedding Industry Fund: This new fund aims to provide support to businesses whose main income comes from the wedding and civil partnerships industry, which has been significantly impacted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s provided by the Scottish Government and administered by Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. The fund offers a fixed grant amount based on turnover. This fund will be open to applications from 28 January 2021, find out more here.
Cyber Scotland Week, 22nd - 28th February 2021: Cyber Scotland Week draws together events across Scotland designed to make businesses, organisations and individuals more cyber aware and resilient. Flexible Workforce Development Fund for SMEs: The Scottish Government have announced a new Flexible Workforce Development Fund (FWDF) which will allow SMEs to apply for upskilling and reskilling support. Defined as a business with less than 250 employees, SMEs will be able to access training locally at Perth College UHI to support them in adapting and responding to the impacts of COVID-19 and help their existing employees to upskill and reskill.
