The Scottish Government launched a three year action plan in March 2021 to deliver the Scottish Social Enterprise Strategy. The focus is to raise the profile of social enterprise with not only potential customers, but with public sector and those that may wish to benefit from your social or environmental work. GrowBiz, the enterprise support agency behind Smart village Scotland, is making available resources to give the P&K group a presence, and supporting the individual social enterprises.
The PK SE Group membership is open to third sector organisations that are operating as a social enterprise or those that are developing one. The benefits will include a web page entry, access to a members only blog site, events and also a chance to feature in future news stories. Membership is free to the individual organisations and we hope that this will encourage everyone to sign up and give a stronger voice and more visibility to the sector in Perth and Kinross.
